No Goodbyes are in Works for Forever-Young Def Leppard

At a time when legendary rockers and divas are cashing in one last time on well-publicized “farewell” stadium tours — whose headliners’ true retirements are often a bluff — it might be safe to assume that Def Leppard has pondered the same strategy.
Think again.
The Rock of Ages quintet has a long, long way to go.
“I find it funny when I see bands quitting; it’s so dramatic,” said Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen, who with the British group will perform on Wednesday in Value City Arena as part of a throwback-heavy bill that includes Foreigner and Night Ranger.
