As Def Leppard wound up its tour with Styx and Tesla in Bismarck on Sunday, the band is looking forward to the release of its new studio album, "Def Leppard," on Oct. 30.
The new single, "Let's Go," has reached eighth on the Classic Rock Radio Chart.
"The new record is really diverse," guitarist Vivian Campbell said. "It covers a lot of the different styles that the band has been known for over the decades. We have some straight-up hard rock songs on it and we also have a lot more of the polished highly produced pop-type songs the band was known for in the mid-80s. We also ventured to some musical genres we have never touched on before."
Campbell also has been playing with the original Dio band under the name Last in Line. He says the group expects to have a record out and be on tour early next year.
